Lewis and Clark County School Board Candidates

East Helena School Board Candidates (as recommended by Lewis and Clark Republican Women):

East Helena has two seats open and ballots are due back by May 4th. You can mail them back ASAP or drop them off at the election office.

James G. Greaney:
My name is James G Greaney I am 26 years old and have been living in E Helena for two years. I can be contacted at 406-272-6263 and at greaney4schoolboard@gmail.com. I have graduated high school and completed training in the Marines as well as being certified with a CDL. I work as a local delivery driver for East Helena Townsend Boulder and Lincoln. I am running for the school board as I am a parent and I want to improve the education for students. I want to assist the school board with completing the final wing of the high school, supporting and building on the alternative education program, and finding ways to balance the budget and secure funding. For the district's covid response I believe the district acted correctly and addressed the issues facing them. As time went on they adapted and where able to reopen in limited capacity being as safe as possible and still serving the needs students. I hope by being on the school board I can provide a younger outlook on what the school district can do to support the students in our schools and make their education better for life. Incumbent Tyrel Murfitt is a Conservative and has helped advance positive change for the children attending East Helena Public Schools.
